Heidy & Co Designs was born from a calling.
I started my design firm because I felt led to follow my dream and trust God with the unknown, even when it meant walking away from security. I knew I was meant to build something rooted in purpose, creativity, and service, something that honored both my faith and my family.
When it came time to launch my business, I wanted every part of it to reflect my story. Introducing my logo on my birthday felt intentional, like stepping fully into a new chapter with gratitude and boldness. It was not just the beginning of a company. It was the continuation of something that had been growing in me for years.
My love for design began long before I ever made it a business. Growing up, my grandmother surrounded our home with bougainvillea, vibrant, bold, and full of life. She was an artist in everything she did. Whether she was sewing dresses, decorating cakes, repainting walls, or layering fabrics in her home, she created with intention and love. She always included me in the process. In those small, beautiful moments, something sparked in me.
The bougainvillea became a natural symbol of that foundation. It reflects my South American roots, the creativity passed down to me, and the warmth that filled our home. Its vibrancy mirrors my passion, its strength reflects resilience, and its welcoming presence represents the kind of spaces I strive to create. In many ways, it captures not just my brand, but the heart behind how I live and design.
Along the way, I learned that trends come and go, but integrity remains. True success is not found in applause or popularity. It is found in serving people well, standing firmly in honesty, and delivering excellence with love.
